In certain situations, opting for a rental car may be more obvious than a short-term leasing contract. For instance, you may temporarily need a different car because yours is undergoing maintenance. Or you may be going on vacation and want to take advantage of the reliability offered by a new car. When this period is shorter than 30 days, renting is generally more cost-effective than leasing. You agree in advance on how long you will be using the car and when you will return it.
From rental to short-term leasing
But what if you find out that you need your rental car for longer than a month? In that case, you would have been better off opting for a short-term leasing agreement. At Blankert Shortlease, this is not a problem. If you inform us in time that you want to extend the rental period, we will convert the agreement to a short-term leasing contract. This way, you still benefit from the flexibility and financial advantage of short-term leasing.
